GIRL!!! We had a second ultrasound yesterday and there is no denying this baby is a girl! We are very excited!!! Now if only we could agree on a name....

Shawn's Wedding!

My brother, Shawn, got married this weekend! It was a fabulous weekend and I enjoyed getting to visit with family and friends!

28 week appointment

I had my 28week appointment on Monday. The baby is measuring right where it should be and the heartbeat is strong and healthy. The baby is moving around like crazy now and some days I wonder if it gets any rest at all. My blood pressure was a little high at my last two appointments (It is always higher when I go to the doctor though) so I go back on Monday again just so they can check it again. I was told to not exercise and rest this week. Easier said than done with my brothers wedding this weekend.

Passed the one hour Glucose Test!

While in Maryland, I found out that I passed my one hour glucose test! Yeah! My iron was a little low so I am on an iron supplement but overall things are good. Baby P. is moving around like crazy these days. It is so weird, but cool to watch my stomach move. Baby P. weighs about 2 pounds now is approximately 9 3/4 inches long!

Trip to Maryland

This past weekend Geoff and I took our last plane trip before Baby Pacana arrives. We flew out to Maryland to visit my best friend Krista and her husband Kevin. We arrived on Friday, enjoyed a nice lunch and then rested before the evening festivities. That night Krista and Kevin hosted a beer tasting party. It seems that everyone enjoyed themselves and the beer while I enjoyed my water. The next day we drove to Hershey, PA to visit Chocolate World. Let's just say we all indulged in a little bit of chocolate and received our Masters degree in Chocolate Tasting. (We even have certificates to prove it!) On Sunday, we traveled to Annapolis, MD where we walked around the town and the Naval Academy. Overall, it was a great trip and it was nice to get away from all of the organizing and cleaning we are doing to prepare for Baby P.
