Happy Halloween!

We think that Kaelyn in the cutest pumpkin in the patch. While we didn't go trick-or-treating this year, we did meet some friends for lunch so Kaelyn got to show off her outfit!

2 months

Kaelyn is now 2 months old! Hard to believe she is getting so big! We go for her two month appointment in a few weeks! Will update you then as to how she is growing!

Rattle

Kaelyn has discovered her hands. She will just stare at them for long periods of time now. Today, I put the rattle in her hand and she shook it for awhile. You should have seen her surprised look when she first moved her hand and it made noise!

Bath

This wasn't Kaelyn's first bath, but just the first time taking pictures. Bath time is not her favorite time, but she is getting used to it!

Kaelyn has really started to practice her talking skills. She has a lot of important things to say!

Swing

I have started to put Kaelyn in her swing more often. For the most part it keeps her happy and content(at least for a little while). While swinging, she has discovered the mirror up above and just stares at it while she swings.

Chole and Kaelyn

Chole is still trying to figure Kaelyn out. Chloe likes to sniff Kaelyn and check out what is going on when Kaelyn is crying. She has been very good with Kaelyn! I took these pictures of them getting to know each other better!

Lunch Out!

I got Kaelyn all dressed up and we met my friend Jill for lunch today! Kaelyn slept through the whole lunch and the visit to Jill's office. All of Jill's co-workers thought that Kaelyn was the cutest thing! Here are some pictures of her in her pretty pink outfit!

Happy Baby!

Kaelyn was so happy today that I had to get video of her beautiful smile! Keep watching the video...it takes awhile to get to the smile. You can also hear Chloe in the background barking at squirrels outside on the golf course!

Playmat

I got out Kaelyn's playmat in hopes that it would make tummy time more fun! She loves the monkey that lights up and plays music!

Sunday

We took Kaelyn to church for the first time today! She was really good and slept through the whole mass. Geoff also helped me figure out the Baby Bjorn carrier. It works great and Kaelyn slept while I got a few things done around the house!

One Month Appointment

Kaelyn had her one month appointment today! She is doing great! She now weighs 9 lbs 1 oz and is 23 inches long(I am not convinced that is an accuarate measurement though). Her head measures 14 inches around. The doctor assured us everything is in the normal range! She does have blocked tear ducts and a small eye infection. Nothing that some eye drops and time won't heal! I can't believe she is one month already! Time sure flies by!
