Rolling Over!

Today Kaelyn rolled over from her back to her tummy two times. Of course, neither Geoff nor I has actually seen it yet. This morning, Geoff got up with her. She was on her playmat and he had his turned for a minute. When he looked again, she had flipped to her tummy. Then right before her morning nap, I had her in her crib and went to go wash my hands. When I came in she had rolled to her tummy again! Hopefully we will get to see her in action soon!

5 months

Kaelyn is now 21 weeks old! It is crazy how fast time is flying by and quickly she is growing. She continues to learn new things every day and is becoming quite the little person. Now if only I could get her to sleep more!

Practicing Sitting

We are using my pregnancy pillow to help Kaelyn practice sitting up. She is starting to get the hang of it! Before you know it she will be sitting up on her own!

Screaming!

Kaelyn has discovered her voice and thinks it is fun to scream for no reason at all. Mom and dad thought it was funny at first, but aren't so sure anymore.

Kaelyn and Chloe

Kaelyn and Chloe are still getting used to each. Especially as Kaelyn continues to get more active. Chloe continues to be good with her though and wants to give her doggie kisses all the time.

Kicking Baby!

So Kaelyn has started kicking her right leg all of the time lately. It is mostly the right leg, but sometimes the left. It is so cute and just makes me laugh.

4 month appointment

Today Kaelyn had her four month appointment. She now weighs 13 pounds 5 oz (30th percentile) and is 25 3/4 inches long (80th percentile). So she continues to be long and lean. The Dr. is happy with her progress. She was not a happy camper when at the docs office today and was less happy after receiving two shots! The Dr. recommended that we wait until 6 months before starting solids, but we might try them in a few weeks and see how it goes! had to post these pics because I just love this outfit! She wore it to music class and was the most stylish baby in the room:)

High Chair

We haven't started feeding Kaelyn solid foods yet, but we set up the high chair. We had her practice sitting in it. We ate dinner and she chewed on cold washcloth! hopefully that first tooth will be in soon! She is getting to be such a big girl!

Look who found her feet!

Kaelyn has discovered her feet and they are now her favorite toy! She is constantly grabbing them and trying to out them in her mouth. It sure makes changing her diaper a bit more challenging!
