7 months old!

It is hard to believe, but my baby is 7 months old today! Kaelyn and I had a very busy day today. We started out by attending our first story time at the library! Kaelyn loved it! Then mommy did a little shopping downtown Naperville. Then in the afternoon, we met Grandma at the Riverwalk and enjoyed the beautiful weather by taking Chloe for a walk! Since it was so warm out and in our house she ended the day rolling around on the floor in her birthday suit!

Getting into the toy box

Kaelyn has figured out how to roll over to her toy box and try to pull out her toys. She gets very frustrated when she can't get what she wants! She is so smart!

Little Wine Lover

Kaelyn has discovered Mommy and daddy's wine collection. She is already trying to open a bottle. We might have lock it all up until she turns 21.

Go State!

Kaelyn is already to cheer on Michigan State tonight! Hopefully she will be their good luck charm!

Big Girl Bath Tub

Kaelyn was getting too big for the infant bathtub, so mommy went out and bought her a new one. It is inflatable and is shaped like a duck. When you press the bill, the duck quacks! Kaelyn loved it. It will also come in handy when we travel to Grandma and Grandpa Gedert's and to Kiawah!

Getting ready to crawl

The last week Kaelyn has been trying really hard to get up on her knees when on her tummy. She is very close to getting into crawling position on her own. However, sometimes mommy and daddy will put her in the crawling position. The last few days when we put her in the crawling position, she has started to rock back and forth. I have a feeling she will be crawling in no time!

First Ride in the Big Girl Stroller

Since the weather was so nice today, we took Kaelyn and Chloe for a walk. For the first time we put Kaelyn in the stroller without the carrier! I think that she loved it!

6 month appoinment

Kaelyn had her six month appointment today. She weighs 14 lbs 12 oz. She is 27 inches long. So she is still long and lean. The doctor assured us however that she is growing just fine. Her right eye is infected and the tear duct is still blocked in that eye. So we have some ointment to heal the infection and hope that duct will open up soon!

On the Move

No, Kaelyn isn't crawling yet, but she sure is figuring out how to scoot and roll herself around on the floor. I am afraid that she will be an early crawler...Guess it is time to baby proof the house! She is also able to sit up by herself now. It is amazing how quickly they learn new things!

6 months
