Swim Lessons

Kaelyn and I have been taking swim lessons at the YMCA. one of the other moms has a waterproof camera and she so kindly took this picture and shared it with me. Even though Kaelyn doesn't look like a happy fish here, she truly does love her swim lessons.

Mom and Dad's Bed

Kaelyn loves to sit on Mom and Dad's bed. She also likes to walk around on it, but on this day she was content to just sit and look at a photo album of her baby pictures.

Fun at the Park!

Kaelyn and enjoyed the beautiful weather today! We were both so happy to be outside! This morning after swim class we played with chalk outside. This afternoon we went to the Park. Kaelyn has grown so much since we were last there in the fall. She loved the slide and is now big enough to down by herself! She loved exploring and checking everything out. Daddy even joined us after dinner for a walk with Chloe!

Yay...

For nice weather. Kaelyn and I are so excited to be able to get outside and play today!

This morning I went to wake Kaelyn up because we had swim class. When I opened the door this is how I found her. At some point during the night, she had covered up Elmo with her little blanket. I guess she wanted to make sure that Elmo was nice & cozy too!

Weekend in Maryland

We spent a wonderful weekend visiting with our dear friends Krista and Kevin in Maryland this weekend! Kaelyn is such a good traveler. However, we quickly realized that traveling with a toddler and all of their stuff isn"t easy. We could have used a few more arms and legs to carry everything, but somehow we managed and made it to the terminal. Once there, we found out that you couldn't check bags in that terminal. So...I stayed back with Kaelyn while Geoff and a very kind gentleman ran to Terminal one to check our luggage. Flight went smoothly until we arrived in Maryland. Upon arriving at baggage claim we discovered that two of our three checked bags did not make it. Of course those bags included all of Kaelyn's clothes and diapers as well as our own clothes. Luckily the car seat arrived so we could safely transport Kaelyn to Krista and Kevin's house. Sadly our luggage did not arrive until 11:30pm that night...so we had to go and buy diapers and pj's for Kaelyn. The rest of weekend went smoothly...we enjoyed a walk in the park, Kevin's delicious cooking, visiting with friends Dan and Charity and their new baby Aiden(we traveled around Europe with them) and a trip to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. It was a busy & wonderful weekend!
