Kaelyn Noelle Pacana

She is finally here. After 16 or so hours of labor. Kaelyn Noelle Pacana made her entrance into this world on August 31. She weighed 7 lbs 7oz and is 20 inches long! She is absolutly perfect. Geoff and I couldn't be happier.

Final Nursery Pics.

The nursery is done! Well, we do plan on putting her name above the crib, but since that is a secret, we have to wait until she is born to have that done. Here are the latest pics.

39 week appointment

So I had my 39 week appointment today. Not too much to report. The babies heartbeat was 142. I am still 1 cm dilated. She did say that she didn't think I would make it to my induction date(whew!). Geoff gets home tomorrow and then will be able to work from home until the baby comes. So after tomorrow I am ready. Bring on the baby!

38 weeks

I had another doctor's appointment today. It seems that things are progressing and my body is starting to prep for labor. At my appointment today she said I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced (thinning of the the cervix). I could however stay that way for awhile. My next appointment is Wednesday and she didn't seem to think I would go into labor before then. The babies heart rate was 148 and she said that she is a good size baby.(I am scared to know what means!)

Chloe Video

Geoff and I purchased one of those pocket HD video cameras (Creative Vado). We will use it to post videos of the baby. However, I was practicing using it the day on Chloe. So here is a video of Chloe playing fetch.

37 Week Appointment

I had my 37 week appointment this afternoon. We talked about labor and then because my doctor is on vacation the next two weeks we scheduled an induction in case Baby P. doesn't arrive by her due date. So if Baby P. is stubborn and doesn't want to enter this world on her own she will be forced to on Sept. 15th.

Nursery Pics

Well the Nursery isn't quite finished yet, but we are getting close. Geoff and I will finish shopping for the things we need this weekend and hopefully the nursery will be finished shortly. Here are a few pictures of the nurs.ery

36 Weeks

On Saturday, I was officially 36 weeks. I had my doctor appointment on Friday and everything continues to be going well. I still feel pretty good, although my feet have started to swell and my hips hurt a little. Overall though, I can't complain. I had a great weekend with fantastic friends and am looking forward to meeting our little girl!
