Happy First Birthday to our beautiful little princess! Kaelyn and I had a great time celebrating! I made a special breakfast for her. She opened a few presents from mom and dad and had fun playing with her new toys from the party. Then we went to the mall, went out to lunch and played in the mall play area. We finished out the day with dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Pacana's.
Life for the Pacana's is great! We have a beautiful daughter and a wonderful dog that keep our life full and interesting!

Walking!
Within the last few days Kaelyn has started walking on her own! She is so proud of herself and claps almost every time that she falls. She is getting so big!

Eating with a spoon
Tonight I made mashed potatoes for dinner. Whenever I tried to feed them to Kaelyn with a spoon, she would spit them out and grab for the spoon. So I put some on the spoon, put the spoon on her tray and waited to see what happen. She picked up the spoon and put it and the mashed potatoes in her mouth. Now she only did this a couple more times and I think that more potato ended up her hair than in her mouth, but she was so proud of herself.

Our Little Hurricane
Geoff and I have decided that Kaelyn would be very helpful when unpacking. She loves to take things out of their places. Whether its her blankets or toys from the basket or the cds from the shelves, she loves to make a mess. We are hoping she will learn to put it away as quickly as she takes it apart.:) We like to call her Hurricane Kaelyn.
