Today we took Kaelyn apple picking at Kuipers Farm in Maple Park, IL. We had a blast despite the cloudy skies. Kaelyn loved walking around the orchard with an apple in hand. She also enjoyed tasting all of the apples and of course the delicious dounts. We can't wait to go back next year!

What a fun and exciting day it was at the apple orchard for Kaelyn's first apple picking experience. It brought back many memories of taking Geoff and Stacey along with the Halstead cousins for apples, pumpkins and of course, donuts and cider :-)

Oh, but I miss the apple picking tradition when the Halstead and Pacana kids were little. Now the new generation begins theirs. Hope Kaelyn will put the apples to good use---such as making apple pie for Auntie Eve and Uncle Dave. Love you.
